3rd High-pressure XPS of Energy Materials (HP-XPS-EM3)
We are pleased to announce that the 3rd High-pressure XPS of Energy Materials (HP-XPS-EM3) one day meeting will be held on Friday 13th September at the University of Nottingham. The day will take a slightly different format this time, with contributed talks in the morning and afternoon sessions, with a sandpit lunch. During the sandpit delegates will work in teams to come up with a novel HP-XPS experiment and present it back to the group. The winning proposal will be announced at the end of the day and awarded free access to HIPPOLYTA to do the experiment. The meeting is free as usual and supported by the University of Nottingham’s Propulsion Futures Beacon and the IOP Thin Films and Surfaces group. The scientific program will begin at 10:30am and finish at 5:00pm. For those who want to learn more about HP-XPS there will be a seminar aimed at non-experts starting at 9:30am beforehand.
Abstract submission is now open. Please send your abstract for a talk (there will be no posters at this meeting due to the sandpit) to firstname.lastname@example.org by 23rd August.
