Conference for Astronomy and Physics Students (CAPS '21): Physics talks for school years 11-13

CAPS '21 Talks for school students years 11-13

On Friday 25 June, the day before CAPS '21, we will be hosting a webinar for students from Years 11-13 on three current topics in physics: gravitational waves, radar, and particle physics. Current physics undergraduates from the University of Birmingham will deliver three talks on their recently completed third year projects, with each project being on one of these topics.

These short, accessible sessions will introduce some university level physics to prospective undergraduates and give an insight into the university physics experience. Audience members will be able to ask our presenters questions on their projects, wider physics and university physics life in general, during a dedicated Q&A for each session.

If you are a school student years 11-13 or registering on behalf of a student years 11-13*, register to access the livestream here:

*If you are a teacher or undergrad please register via the conference platform here: Teachers are asked to distribute links to their students and will be contacted separately with the video link.
