DUNE: An International Neutrino Observatory

Branch lecture

Prof Stefan Soldner-Rembold (University of Manchester)

The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) will be an observatory for neutrino science involving more than 1000 international scientists and engineers. DUNE physicists will seek to understand the role neutrinos play in the formation of the universe, addressing the question of why there is more matter than antimatter. This lecture will introduce the ambitious goals of the DUNE project and the incredible technology supporting it.
