East Midlands Retired Members visit to the Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre

The itinerary is:

 10:30  Meet for refreshments and networking in the Conference Room at the SPM Imaging Centre.       

            Teas/Coffees and biscuits provided for a fee of £2 / person.

 11:00   Welcome and short talk about the history of the Centre by the Director.

 11:15   Tour of the Centre split into 3 groups running concurrently to see the 3 main areas.

 12:00   Finish

 

We can then reconvene in the Helmsley bar where hot and cold food is available. It’s just a short walk from the Imaging Centre. 

From 1.30 pm there is an optional trip to the Physics block to see Einstein's Blackboard where some of his writing has been preserved from the 1940s.  

The numbers are strictly limited to 30 places so could those wishing to attend register below.

If you would like to go on to the Helmsley bar for lunch then again contact him so a table can be booked. 

Parking is available in the Visitors car park (next to the Imaging Centre) at a cost of £5 for 2 hrs or £7 for 4 hrs.
