Exotic Nuclei: On The Edge of Existence

Presenter: Dr Marina Petri, University of York

In the laboratory, physicists can create atomic nuclei which we haven't otherwise observed in nature, challenging our understanding of the fundamental fabric of the universe. In this talk, Dr Petri will discuss the role of exotic nuclei in our understanding of nature and highlight the exciting research currently being undertaken in nuclear physics.
