About the Event:
Having connected to the school via video call in our Space Age Sessions day in July 2019, Egglescliffe School are excited and honoured to hold an evening where Dr. Andy Aldrin and Jim Christensen of the Aldrin Institute will be visiting the school and speaking to an audience about their experiences of Space and their dreams and vision for the future. This is an astonishing opportunity to link up with two esteemed figures in the Space Industry who are coming across to the school from the United States to link up especially with Egglescliffe School.
The Institute of Physics North East branch are supporting this event and have a number of free tickets to offer to anyone who would like to attend.
We look forward to sharing this fantastic experience with you.
Egglescliffe School would like to extend a galaxy of gratitude to our Mission Control team who have helped make this mission succeed. From Angie Watson and her Class of ’78 friends to our own staff; from the U.S. Embassy in London to the Reece Foundation; from the Institute of Physics – NE branch to RTC North; from all our speakers at our space event days to the multitude of ground crew that provided prizes, print support and so much more…there are too many stars to count!!!
