Superspintronics: towards ultra-low dissipation spin-electronics
Speaker: Dr Niladri Banerjee
Experiments in the last decade have shown the presence of an unconventional superconductivity, formed of equal spin electron pairs and unaffected by a ferromagnet. These structures open new directions into spintronics, offering information processing with zero heat dissipation using superconductors. This talk will discuss the developments of the last decade and focus on some striking recent developments.
