Video Screening - "Muonography and the Pyramids"

The Great Pyramid of Giza (Pyramid of Khufu) is the oldest wonder of the ancient world, towering over Egypt for more than 4500 years. Shrouded in mystery, archaeologists have discovered a number of chambers within the structure throughout the ages that have given insight into the ancient civilization. Now, using particle physics, an international team of researchers can non-invasively scan the pyramid, and have discovered a void within the structure that is about 100 feet long.

This event will be the screening of a film that describes this method and the journey of discovery towards this discovery.
